To help get you started and find your way around ClaimWizard, this video will show some of the basic navigation and areas you will need as you work.
Remember you can click on the blue text Claim Number to open a Quick View of a specific claim or the blue text for the Policyholder to open a Quick view of the policy holder information. Clicking on the header of any column will sort that column. All searches in ClaimWizard can be partial searches, for example, partial street address, last name or claim number. (All data in our demonstration system is fictitious.)
The Home Tab area contains two views, Dashboard & Workbench:
The ClaimWizard Dashboard is where you start every time you log into the system. Information about claims, clients and status are displayed on this screen.
The ClaimWizard Dashboard has three distinct views:
- Open Claims: View of your open claims where you can easily sort and update any data you have access to.
- Action Items: This is essentially your “to do” list where you can sort by due date, priority and task.
- Messages: This area holds any messages requiring moderation.
Here you can search for a specific client – even using partial information like a street address or last name, view a list of all clients, or add a new client/property/claim or a prospect. Any Client records you have actively open will display as tabs across the top of this section. Clicking the X in the right corner of the tab will close the Client record display.
Here you can search for a specific claim or view a list of all open claims. Any Claim records you have actively open will display as tabs across the top of this section. Clicking the X in the right corner of the tab will close the Claim record display.
Here you can search for a specific company, add a new company, or view a list of companies by category. A company can be any external or 3rd party business you would like to track such as insurance carrier, 3rd party or independent adjusters, or a restoration company. Any Company records you have actively open will display as tabs across the top of this section. Clicking the X in the right corner of the tab will close the Company record display.
You will need sufficient security rights to see and use this tab, but it is where you can view and manage your staff accounts in ClaimWizard. Any Staff records you have actively open will display as tabs across the top of this section. Clicking the X in the right corner of the tab will close the Staff record display.
Here you can select a report from the drop down menu and click “run report” and print or export the results.
The Library Tab
The Library is a resource where we have collected information and content that you can use for your business.
